Starting with your vision, our twelve-step process makes your dream a reality. Our highly-experienced team streamlines your design process to be efficient and remain true to your original idea, with room for design and budget flexibility, allowing us to create a beautiful bespoke build or a thoughtful renovation and transformation of your home which exceeds your expectations.

Project enquiry

We start by discussing your idea, then engage a designer to bring your concept to life and start working on your plan. Or, if you prefer to use an alternative designer, we’ll meet with them to discuss your vision.

Meet architect

We’ll put you in contact with the architect designing your dream home and discuss your plan and vision. They will also discuss a range of design options with you, and you’ll be asked for your input, make some decisions, and provide your creative
directives.

Preliminary agreement

You sign a preliminary agreement with Rowberry, a simple agreement for us to work with you throughout the design and costing phase, and it is not a contract to
complete your build or renovation.

Concept designs

The architect will provide the initial concept designs for your preliminary approval, which you can amend to ensure that the designs fulfil your creative directives and align with your overall vision.

Ballpark estimates

We’ll provide a ballpark estimate for your project based on the preliminary concept designs. From this quote and the following discussions, you can revisit and amend the initial plan to ensure it fits your budget and incorporates any new ideas you may have had.

Design rework

The architect will begin your construction drawings according to your updated design directives. Once again, adjustments can be made to ensure that your construction drawings fit your budget and meet your expectations.

Consent lodgment

The architect completes your construction drawings to your specifications, and your building consent application is lodged with your local council.

Detailed pricing

An external Quantity Surveyor, our team, and our subcontractors undertake a full pricing exercise. We then provide you with a final quote for your project, after which we can discuss the quote and answer any questions you may have.

Contract agreement

If you’re satisfied with the plans and accept the quote, you agree for Rowberry to complete your custom build or renovation.

Build/renovation scheduling

We’ll work with you to find the perfect time to start your project. Many factors are involved in scheduling, ensuring that we can complete your project within the agreed-upon timeframe and avoid unnecessary costs or delays. And because our highest priority is for your build or renovation to exceed your expectations, strategic planning concerning materials, subcontractors, and site management are crucial.

Construction and landscaping

Throughout the construction and landscaping process, we’ll work closely with you to accommodate any changes you need and to keep you abreast of all design decisions. We strongly believe that with a flexible approach and a strong relationship, we’ll deliver your dream home which exceeds your expectations.

Project handover

When your build or renovation and landscaping are complete, we’ll take you through the project to ensure your new home exceeds your expectations.

And it’s also at this time that we’ll provide you with all the necessary technical  documents, including warranties, and we’ll assist you in lodging a Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) application.
